I'm the team webmaster. We built this site to be extremely compatible, even going to the extent of having various team members hand-translate the entire site into French and Spanish. It's also very admin-friendly, to see how we edit content, go to the "our team - website" page, and click on the "try out parser" link.
Overall, the site could use nicer colors, but, the school (who gives us $$$) won't let us. We're also a rookie team, meaning we don't have that many photos yet, so we can't fill the site.
I think the look is nice, and professional, and it will depend on the judges to decide if they like professional sites, or frilly sites.
We're going for the website design award at the PacificNorthWest regional, or at least the website excelence award.
